About Website Design by Doug Walker
Website Design by Doug Walker was started over ten years ago when I needed a website for my gym business; The Training Station (1995-2008).
Having computer programming skills from my previous job helped me realize that web design was just another programming language. This helped the process of learning website design come easy.
Eventually, I came to the conclusion; I was better at website design than running a gym and decided it was time for a change. After designing hundreds of websites all over the United States, I’m sure I made the right choice.
Over the last few years my business focus has changed from building expensive custom websites from scratch to more WordPress based designs. WordPress is a very powerful content management system capable of almost anything using the right theme and plugins. WordPress is also a quicker and much more affordable website solution for most small businesses.
I am located in Greenwood, Indiana, but with today’s technology I am able to work with customers all over the United States. If necessary, I can meet with customers in Greenwood, Indianapolis, Noblesville, Carmel, Fishers, Shelbyville, Whiteland, Franklin, Wanamaker, and Beech Grove.
